AUTOMATIC OPERATIONS WITH 70 REPEATABLE PROFILES
Full color, high resolution touch screen displays complete information to control machine and setup edge profiles. Program library stores up to 70 programmable, repeatable edge profiles allowing different machine setups to be made quickly and easily.
Material Handling Conveyor System
Input and Output 72" long x 31" wide conveyors with "all way" rollers. The VELOCITY also utilizes a Swing-Out support conveyor that provides support for larger, overhanging stone pieces.
SINGLE PASS, PRECISION POLISHING
Polish a variety of edge types including: Flat-Edge, Flat-Edge with Radius top and/or bottom, bullnose, half-bullnose, T profiles, and other convex shapes; in a single pass with an average production rate of 12"-24" per minute (depending on material/profile).
12 SPINDLES UTILIZED
The VELOCITY utilizes 12 spindles in its single pass polishing. Center water feed on all spindles expect the Servo Shaping Spindle and each spindle has its own corresponding control and pressure gauge.
POWERED BELT CONVEYOR DRIVE
The VELOCITY single pass edger utilizes a 2’ wide x 17’ long non-slip, non-marring conveyor belt. This powered conveyor belt drive uses a 1 HP washdown duty AC motor with variable frequency drive speed control (4” – 40” / minute).
PNEUMATIC Hold-Downs
The VELOCITY® utilizes nineteen 2” bore x 4” stroke heavy duty triple rod air cylinders with non-marring urethane rollers in stainless steel yokes to ensure precision edge polishing.
Exclusive ArmorShield Protection
The ArmorShield Protection on the VELOCITY® Edge Polisher protects critical machine parts, enhancing corrosion/wear resistance. It protects components from the harsh, wet environment of stone fabrication while increasing machine uptime. It is not simply a plating or surface coating process, it impregnates the material for strength and durability. The treatment actually changes the composition of the material on the outside of the part producing an aesthetic black finish.
